I have found the course really empowering.
Personally, I have found the course really empowering. As a mum of two young boys, who has taken a side-step in my career to look after them, I really value the opportunity the course has given me for my professional development. The course content and the study mode came at the perfect time for me. (I have previously studied with CIM who offered distance learning but they were not set-up to offer it adequately, so I chose this route over continuing with them).
I attended the first short course over lockdown because I already had high regard for the knowledge of the staff from Mediaworks, as I have worked with the business on several campaigns in the past. I became even more impressed by them thanks to the knowledge demonstrated on the course, especially by Rachel, as insights is an area I would like to explore. Moving onto the master’s seemed like a natural and easy progression from there. Dr David Norris has a fantastic ability to relate the theoretical underpinnings of digital marketing to the everyday world of work because he has had so much experience himself, it has made the course so easy to understand and navigate. He is incredibly relatable and personable as well as knowledgeable, which really helps as the students feel part of a class rather than individuals at home.
It has had a big impact on me personally as it has given me a little bit of something for me, where I am something other than mum!
